F A Q
Q) I am paying for pest control service so I won’t have bugs. Why do I keep finding dead bugs in my house?
A) Even though you have pest control service there is no assurance that pests will not gain access to the interior of the structure. Finding dead bugs as opposed to live ones is an indicator that your pest control service is working. Even finding an occasional live one is not a serious issue as having pest control service does insure that pests entering the structure will not survive to the point of infestation.
Q) Why do I keep getting ants in my house even after I have sprayed for them?
A) Spraying will not always control ants and in some cases will actually make the problem worse. There are numerous species of ants that can infest homes and the prescribed treatment may not be the same in all cases. If you have an ant infestation in your home my best advice is to contact a professional pest control operator and have them determine what type of ants you have and the best treatment method for your home.
Q) I live in a block house. Can I still get termites?
A) Yes, you can. Even though your foundation walls are block, builders often construct your interior walls and roof system with wood.
Q) Do mobile homes get termites?
A) Yes, they can. Builders often construct mobile homes with wood for the interior walls, roof system, and floor system, even though the exterior walls may be aluminum or vinyl.
Q) How do I know if I have termites?
A) We recommend an annual termite inspection.
Q) What do I do if I have termites?
A) You can discuss treatment programs with your termite inspector.
Q) Can I prevent termites?
A) Yes, you can treat your home to prevent termites. Consult with your termite inspector about the available treatment options.
